Finance and Audit

The Finance and Audit Committee is essential to safeguarding the financial health of Northern Inyo Healthcare District (NIHD). Comprised of the entire NIHD Board of Directors and working in consultation with the Chief Executive and Financial Officer and the Associate Financial Officer, the Committee is responsible for reviewing and monitoring the annual budget and, as appropriate, its long-term capital expenditure plan.

The Committee also makes recommendations to the Board on the retention of auditors, approves audits, and develops business plans for subsidiary organizations. As a "Committee of the Whole," all members of the NIHD Board of Directors actively participate, ensuring comprehensive oversight and informed decision-making.

The Finance and Audit Committee meets quarterly, at 4 p.m., unless otherwise noted, prior to the regular Board of Directors meetings. See below for agendas and minutes.
