Connor L. Wiles, MD

About Connor

Dr. Wiles obtained his medical degree at Oregon Health and Science University and recently completed his residency in General Surgery at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

He is trained to perform Robotic-assisted surgeries. He holds memberships in the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgery and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Wiles sees his role as a surgeon as helping patients identify and achieve their goals in health and longevity. When a patient comes in, Dr. Wiles wants to determine what exactly it is that ails them and what they would like to achieve if this were not in their way. He then works with the patient to develop a plan to help them move forward with their goals by reducing or eliminating the impact of the health problem on their daily life.

Dr. Wiles finds practicing in Bishop a unique opportunity to serve a community that would otherwise travel a great distance to receive care. His training allows him to offer a wide range of services, and he plans to utilize those skills here in Inyo County.

Coming from a small town about the same size as Bishop, Dr. Wiles feels at home in a community where everyone knows each other and works together to take care of each other’s needs and those of the community.
